Our store was founded in Dec. of 1983 by Steve Achenbach a former Band Director and Assistant Manager in another area music store. Steve is now assisted by Mike Celmer, who combines talents as professional musician, educator, and repair technician.
Band and Orchestra instruments were added to the inventory, as were more teachers and students for the Education Dept. We have also dramatically increased our Print Music area and plan to continue this expansion.
Other departments include Accessories, Repairs, Rentals, Guitars and Amps, CDs and Gifts. We "outgrew" our first store and moved 13 yrs. ago to a new and larger location near Harper College. We have an excellent reputation in the area for treating our customers well and hope you will "give us a try."
